STILLWATER - Helen Anita Yager, 81, a 30 year resident of Pine Lane, died Thursday, Nov 2nd at Diamond Hill, Troy, after an extended illness.
Born in Troy, Feb 4, 1936, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Harrington Clark, she was a data analyst for Computer Services Corp in Menands, for a number of years.
Helen was a talented and creative crafts person, liked to crochet, taught ceramics from her home, and had decorative skill, producing many different items for family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, spending time and being surrounded by her family and her grandchildren, especially as babies.
Helen accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
In addition to her parents, she was sadly predeceased by her son Timothy J. (2001) and granddaughter Laurie Ann Yager (1996).
Survivors include her daughters Anita (Scott) Trask of Hoosick Falls and Sharlene (Marc) Luther of Gansevoort. Grandchildren: Katie (Samir) Mohamed Ali, Karrie-Ann (Russ) Bradley, Erika Hughes (George Bougor), Gregory (Jennifer) Bushway, Loren and Alexander Luther, along with 12 great grandchildren and her sister Dorothy Degener.
Private services held at the convenience of her family with no calling hours.
