CLIFTON PARK - Gwendolyn J. Zielinski, 85, died peacefully July 10, 2017, while residing at The Glendale Home, where she has lived for the past 10 years. Born in Watervliet, June 23, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James and Lorine Rivet Wagoner.
A homemaker for most of her life, Gwendolyn enjoyed music, shopping trips, traveling, and running her own local beauty pageants. She was also a member of the Clifton Park Women’s Club.
Survivors include her children: Susan Sheldrick of Stillwater, Judith Paige of Cheasapeake, VA, Richard(Barbara) Zielinski of Saratoga Springs, Kimberly(John Tartaglia) Zielinski of Colonie, Rodney Zielinski of Mechanicville, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and a brother William(Sharon) Wagoner of DeFreetsville.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30AM on Thursday, August 3rd at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. Calling hours at the funeral home from 10AM until the service starts at 11:30AM. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Glendale Home, 59 Hetcheltown Rd, Scotia, NY 12302 in memory of Gwendolyn Zielinski.
