Meeting Joe for the first time

Joe and I started working within a week  at HDR.  But he made me feel like I belong instantly.  My parents always taught me to be respectful of those older than me.  So when I sent Joe an email for the first time, I addressed him as "Mr. Izzo".  He immediately told me, never to call him "Mr. Izzo" and simply call him "Joe".  From then on, we're on a first name basis, and once in a while, I would call him "Mr. Izzo" jokingly.

Joe always made me feel special, loved, and he's a superb listener.

Joe's a simple man and yet, made the most impact in many of our lives.

If he was alive today, he would tell me how special I am to him and how precious life is...

"Mr. Izzo", I mean "Joe",

No matter where life takes me, I will always remember to treasure our times together and I will try my best to live life as how you've showed me..

I miss you and I'll see you on the other side.

Love,

Einah
