Obituary for Peter F. Noonan

Peter F.  Noonan
MECHANICVILLE - Peter F. Noonan, 55, of South Third Ave, died Monday morning Nov. 14th at Albany Medical Center, with his loving family at his side, after a 5 year battle with melanoma.
Born in Wayne, NJ Feb 13th, 1961 son of Mrs. Jean Noonan of New Bern, No. Carolina and the late Robert J. Noonan. Peter was a 1979 graduate of Shenendehowa Central.
An IT Tech support with Davis Vision of Latham for 9 years, and previously for years with Siemens of Albany, Peter had to retire on a medical disability several years ago.
Peter enjoyed collecting antiques, coins and stamps, loved music, and playing his bass guitar. He loved the company of his family, friends and neighbors.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of almost 30 years Kimberly Maynard Noonan, son Jonathan R. Noonan and daughter Melissa (John) Palmer and had been excited to see his expected grandson due in March 2017. Siblings: Lawrence (Maureen) Noonan, Paul (Kathy) Noonan, Tom Noonan, Mark (Elaine) Noonan and Theresa (John) Santelli, along with nieces, nephews, his mother-in-law Carol (the late Ronald) Maynard of Wilton and several sisters and brother in law and their families.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 6:30 PM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 141 North Main St., Mechanicville.
Calling hours at the North Main Street Church on Friday from 4:30 PM till Mass time.
In lieu of flowers, Peter’s family asks remembrances be made to a music scholarship in memory of Peter F. Noonan at Mechanicville High School, Kniskern Ave, Mechanicville, NY 12118.
