Obituary for JoAnn C. Tucker (Lane)

JoAnn C.  Tucker (Lane)
STILLWATER - JoAnn C. Tucker, 78, of Hudson Ave, and a lifelong area resident, died at home, Thursday evening, Oct. 6th, after a very brief illness.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, December 7, 1937, daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine Lane, She was predeceased in 2010 by her husband of 52 years Lyle C. Tucker.
JoAnn was a homemaker who for several years served as the late Dr. John Vinett’s secretary. She had volunteered for a number of years at the Stillwater Free Library.
JoAnn enjoyed reading, bowling with the Alley Cats women’s league, and was always seen with her bright and friendly smile. She enjoyed life and loved and was proud of her family.
Survivors include her daughter Mary Ann (Rick) Barbolt of Stillwater, and three sons Michael (Victoria) Tucker of Albany, Lawrence Tucker of Halfmoon and Patrick (Rachael) Tucker of Preston, Ct. Nine grandchildren: Erin Mathys, Ryan and Kyle Barbolt, Justin, Jaime, Leah, Carlie, Abigail and Emily Tucker and two great grandchildren Melody and River Mathys, along with neighbors and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 1 PM at All Saints on the Hudson North Church, 895 Hudson Ave, Stillwater. Burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours at All Saints Church, Hudson Ave Stillwater on Monday from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either Hospice or to Stillwater Free Library in memory of JoAnn C. Tucker
