MECHANCIVILLE - Larry J. Ingraham, 67, of Hemstreet Park, died unexpectantly Thursday morning, Apr. 7th at Samaritan Hospital after being stricken at home.
Born in Troy, August 8, 1948, son of the late Duane and Norma Lucas Ingraham, he was a 1966 graduate of Mechanicville High School. Thereafter he enlisted in the US Air Force, was a military air policeman and served a years deployment in Vietnam.
A control operator for Momentive formerly General Electric Silicone Products in Waterford, for many years, taking a disability retirement.
Very patriotic, Larry was a former Fire Chief and longtime member of the Hemstreet Park Fire Dept., was also a member of the Mechanicville-Stillwater Elks Lodge, the American Legion and the Vietnam Security Police Assoc.
He was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed vegetable gardening, and had a fun loving attitude.
A proud Dad of two daughters and two grandkids, Larry enjoyed his life.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Ruth Perri Ingraham, daughters Debra (Edwin) Cho of Stanford, Ct and Pamela (Patrick) Conner of W. Virginia. Grandchildren Griffin and Lillian Cho, and sisters Janice Collins of Mechanicville and Diane (Tom) Quinn of Ballston Lake, along with nieces and nephews.
Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St, Mechanicville on Sunday from 3-6 PM. A Funeral Service will be Monday at 11 AM. Burial with military honors at Saratoga National Cemetery.
