Obituary for Charles L. Keegan Jr.

Charles L.  Keegan Jr.
MECHANICVILLE - Charles L. Keegan, Jr., 80, of Harris Ave., died Wednesday, March 9th, at Albany Medical Center, after an extended illness.
Born in Lansingburgh, Nov. 25, 1935, son of the late Charles Keegan, Sr and Eleanor George Duell, “Chuck” and family grew up in Lansingburgh and raised his children there also. He was a production supervisor at Gardenway Manufacturing of Troy, for 28 years before retiring. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, was a respected three sport athlete at Lansingburgh High. Chuck was a New York Yankee and Giant fan.
Survivors include his sons: James (Kim) of Melrose, Gerald (Donna) of Troy, John (Sandy) of Stillwater, Jeffrey (MaryBeth) of Troy, his daughter Diana (Jon) Simmons of Mechanicville, a sister Patricia (Dave) Amoroso of Mechanicville, sister-in-law Barbara Campbell of Cohoes, along with many grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Chuck was predeceased by brothers James and Harry Campbell.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 4 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours at Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.,
