Obituary for Nancy Esposito

MECHANICVILLE – Mrs. Nancy Dragonette Esposito, 94, of Ellsworth Ave., died Wednesday morning at Julie Blair Nursing Ctr in Albany, after an extended illness.
A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, born July 11, 1915, daughter of the late Angelo and Anna Cafarre Dragonette, and widow of Fred Esposito who died 1993.
A chief seamstress with the former Korell Dress Co. in Mechanicville for many years, Nancy loved to sew, and made wedding dresses and other clothes for family and friends.
She was a member of the Assumption-St. Paul Church in Mechanicville.

Survivors include her son Rusty Esposito of Mechanicville, sisters: Mary Genevick of Malta, Molly (Gordon) Duell and Rose (Donald) Gooley all of Ballston Spa and Yolanda Schiavone of Ohio, brothers: Ben Dragonette of Mechanicville and Julius (Aggie) Dragonette of Latham, along with many nieces, nephews and their families.
Nancy was also predeceased by her sister Mickey Pollicino and brothers Peter, Joseph and Earl Dragonette.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7 PM.
