Obituary for Daniel W. O'Sullivan

HALFMOON - Daniel W. O’Sullivan, 79, of Vosburgh Trailer Park, died Friday, July 2nd at home after being stricken
Born in Latham, April 8, 1931, son of the late Gilbert and Gwendolyn Tinning O’Sullivan, Dan was a tool and die maker all his working career, working for many years at the Watervliet Arsenal, and also at Sterling Winthrop, TEK Hughes and Capital District Tool & Die Co.
Dan served in both the US Navy from 1948-50 and the US Air Force from 1951-53.
He enjoyed hunting years ago, and was an arm chair sports enthusiast, watching baseball and football.

Survivors include his 5 children: Sharon O’Sullivan of Watervliet, Timothy (Pam) O’Sullivan of Va., Karen O’Sullivan of Latham, Gilbert O’Sullivan of Charlton and Kathy (Doug) Yauchler of Fla., 11 grand and 9 great grandchildren, and two sister: Helena Carey of Latham and Gwendolyn Nelson of Wynantskill, along with nieces and nephews.
Dan was predeceased by his sister Jean Birmingham.

A cremation entombment service with military honors will be held on Friday at 1 PM at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville.

Remembrances may be made to any animal human society in memory of Daniel W. O’Sullivan.
