OBITUARY

STILLWATER – Albert G. Osborn, Jr. 86, of County Road 76, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Saratoga Hospital, after a long illness. A native and lifelong resident of Stillwater, he was born Dec 30, 1924, son of the late Albert G. Osborn Sr. and Thelma Duffney Osborn. He was the Husband of the late Margaret Jean Britt Osborn who predeceased him July 9, 2008

Mr. Osborn served in the Army in the Pacific during WWII. He worked for the former West Virginia Pulp and Paper Co in Mechanicville for over 25 years until the mill closed in 1971. He then worked for Knolls Atomic Power Lab in Niskayuna for over 15 years, retiring in 1987.

Mr. Osborn was avid gardener and loved puttering around the house. He was also a devoted caregiver to his loving wife and to anyone who was in need. He adored and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson along with his three great-grandchildren

Survivors include two daughters, Thelma (Michael) O’Shea of Clifton Park and Deborah Osborn of Stillwater, one grandson Jason Michael (Sarah) Osborn of Kensington, Maryland, three great-grandchildren, Therese, Catherine and Claire Osborn, all of Kensington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at All Saints on the Hudson, North, (St. Peter's) Church, 267 No. Hudson Ave., Stillwater at 1:00 PM., with burial in the Hudson View Cemetery.

Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Wed. from 4-7 p.m.
