GLENVILLE – Edward M. Jesmain, 38, of Maplewood Drive, died Monday, Oct. 17th, at Albany Medical Center, of injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born in Troy, he was the son of Robert and Janice Coon Jesmain of Mechanicville.
During his school days at Mechanicville High School, Ed was an all star wrestler in the 167 lb class. After High School, Ed joined the US Air Force and served 5 years before being honorably discharged. Ed was a telecommunications specialist for SUNY Albany for a number of years.
Eddie’s life revolved around his wife, son and daughter, and his family.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife Aileen Murphy Sullivan Jesmain, son and daughter Zackery and Carissa Jesmain, brothers Robert of Ballston Spa and Jeffrey of Stillwater, maternal grandparents Edward and Mary Coon Sr. of Stillwater, along with his in-laws Joseph and Joanne Murphy Sullivan of Cohoes, as well as a number of aunts/uncles, cousins and friends.
A gathering of friends will be held on Friday from 4-7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville.
