MECHANICVILLE – Fred “Rusty” Esposito, 58, of Ellsworth Ave., died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Samaritan Hospital, after being stricken several days before.
Born in Troy, September 19, 1953, son of the late Frederick and Nancy Dragonette Esposito. A graduate of Mechanicville High School, Rusty worked as a clerk for the NY State Comptroller’s Office of Unclaimed Funds dept. in Troy, for the last 34 years.
A member of CSEA, Rusty enjoyed music and for many years, was involved with physical fitness workouts. Rusty enjoyed walking throughout his city, and was a noted conversationalist who could talk with knowledge of most any subjects.
Rusty is survived by his aunts Mary Genevick of So. Glens Falls, Molly (Gordon) Duell of Ballston Spa, Yolanda Schiavone of Ohio, uncles Ben Dragonette of Mechanicville, Julius (Aggie) Dragonette of Latham, and Donald Gooley of Ballston Spa. Also survived by a number of cousins, including his helpful cousin Diana Bergeron of Saratoga Springs.
A Funeral Service will be be held Wednesday evening at 7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
