MECHANICVILLE – RoseAnn Yusaitis, 53, of Van Buren Save., Riverside, died Tuesday morning, May 14th, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Troy, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saratoga Springs, January 23, 1960, daughter of the late Edward and Vivian Halusic Gaida Yusaitis, she was 1978 graduate of Catholic Central High School, Troy. RoseAnn preformed secretarial duties for several businesses in the Capital District. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and most important to her was the well being of her children, and her expected first grandchild this coming August. Just this past May 9th, she was recognized at the 12th annual Jack Dwyer Humanitarian Award Banquet in Troy for her courage and attitude fighting this disease. RoseAnn’s family thanks Dr. Charles Weismann and staff at NYOH and the Hospice unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, for their care, compassion and concern toward RoseAnn and family. Survivors include her three adored children: Jessica and Matthew Hatalyk, Heather Bucciero and Joseph Bucciero all of Mechanicville, expected grandson Mason Thomas Hatalyk, sisters Donna and John Scott, Teresa and Dominick Salustri both of Mechanicville, loving companion for a past 8 years Kirk Kosinski of East Greenbush, her former husband Dominic Bucciero and her beloved canine companion Bella, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and their families. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at NOON at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville, with burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Thursday evening from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, RoseAnn’s family asks remembrances be made to the Capital District Resource Foundation, PO Box 610, Latham, NY 12110-0610, in loving memory of RoseAnn Yusaitis.
