Obituary for Janice M. Noxon

CLIFTON PARK – Janice M. Noxon, 75, of Kinns Road, passed away peacefully Thursday night at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Putnam, NY on April 5, 1938, she was the daughter of Pauline Winchell Fuller of Paradox and the late Edward A. Fuller. A homemaker for most of her adult life, she was also a member of the Clifton Park Ladies Bowling League for many years and enjoyed taking care of the landscaping around the house, shopping, snow skiing, boating, golfing and watching birds on the bird feeder in the winter. She also enjoyed traveling and hiking with her husband, Chuck, frequently spending many days and nights backpacking in the Grand Canyon and trekking through the Superstition Mountains of Arizona, Yellowstone National Park and the Adirondack Mountains. She lived in many places throughout her life including Schroon Lake, New York, Phoenix, Arizona, Nashua, New Hampshire and Wells-Next-The-Sea, Norfolk, England. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles W. Noxon, whom she married December 26, 1955, her beloved children, Lisa (Ted) McLaughlin of Porter Corners, Terri (John) Northup of Mineville, Gary (Joann) Noxon of Malta and Jason (Krystina) Noxon of Saratoga Springs. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly, Jamie, Tyler, Samantha and Violet, cherished great-grandchildren Hailey, Andrew and Katie, brother Donald (Ruthie) Fuller of Ticonderoga and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Inurnment services will be held Wednesday, October 2nd at NOON at the Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, New York 12871. Those wishing to attend are asked to arrive at the cemetery at 11:45AM. In addition, friends and family are also invited to a Celebration of Life, which will be held on Wednesday, October 9th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at The Century House, 997 New Loudon Road, Latham, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga ( www.communityhospice.org ), 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, New York 12866, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America ( www.cancercenter.com ) or a charity of ones choice in loving memory of Janice M. Noxon.
