Condolence: Dear Joe and Family of Mrs. Izzo,I am sorry to hear about your family’s loss. Mrs. Izzo was my fourth grade teacher whose impact on my life is still evident. She was a strong and forceful teacher who provided structure and encouragement to a disorganized eight year old. She made me feel like I had the ability to be more than just an average student, she was the first teacher who put exs on my report card. As a son of a teacher, I believe my mother arranged for both my brother and I to have Carm Izzo as a teacher.I sure you all know that not just the students but parents and fellow teachers knew that she was someone special.
