Obituary for Lisa Ethier (Rubino)

Lisa Ethier (Rubino)
MECHANICVILLE – Lisa Rubino Ethier, 55, of Timothy Way, died in the comfort of her home on April 27th, with her loving family at her side. Born in Albany on February 27, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Lorraine Salway Rubino.
A 1981 graduate of Mechanicville High School, she also attended Danville Community College and then Averett University.
Lisa worked as the District Manager of the Learning Care Group for the last few years. She was always able to see the best in people. She was a strong, inspirational, motivational leader for all those she worked with. She loved building relationships and helping people realize their potential.
Being a loving wife, mom, and Nonna were truly the most important parts of her life. Her family came first and foremost above all else. Lisa cherished her 5 grandchildren more than anything, she dreamed of meeting her 6th grandchild due later this year.
Survivors include her faithful husband of almost 30 years, Louis E. Ethier Jr, whom she married on July 3, 1988, her loving children Adam(Renee) Leonard of Hoosick Falls, Jessica Ethier of Ballston Spa, Nichole Ethier of Mechanicville and “adopted” daughter Hillary Wallace of Mechanicville, grandchildren Zoey, Katy, Trey, Adam Jr and Reese, brothers Joseph(Colleen) Rubino of Melrose and Daniel(Julie) Rubino of Columbia, SC as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 8:30AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 N Main St, Mechanicville with entombment to follow in St. Paul's Cemetery. Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
