Obituary for Eugene Booth

Eugene Booth
TROY - Eugene (Gene) W. Booth, 81 of Manor Blvd, after stricken suddenly, later died Friday Feb 2nd at Samaritan Hospital. Born Sept 4, 1936, son of the late William and Evelyn Rider Booth, Gene graduated from Bethlehem High School in 1955, was honorably discharged from the NY Army National Guard in 1964.
Gene was a warehouse supervisor for Friendly Home Parties of Colonie until his retirement. He also had worked in the banking industry.
An accordion player, he enjoyed music, photography and sports, and was an avid NY Giants fan.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of nearly 20 years Patricia Crowley Booth, who died July, 2009.
Survivors include his loving son Todd Booth of Troy, loving sisters: Susan DiDonna of Delmar, Barbara Smith of Chandler, Az and Judith VanZandt of Loudonville, along with niece, nephews and their families, his canine companion Smokey, and many members of his late wife’s family.
There are no calling hours.
Private services at the convenience of the family.
